Why I Think Anyone Can Build Wealth But Not Everyone Will

Anyone can build wealth. But not everyone will. Because building wealth isn’t just about money. It’s about knowledge, discipline, time, and making the decision to stop putting your financial future off until tomorrow.

Why I Think Anyone Can Build Wealth But Not Everyone Will

The problem is that even though I think anyone can build wealth, not everyone will. There’s a big difference between saying, “I’ll start one day,” and actually starting.

At some point, you have to decide that you want a better financial future more than you want to keep putting it off. You have to start somewhere. The earlier the better, of course, because time is one of the biggest advantages you can have when it comes to investing. The earlier you begin, the more time your money has to grow, recover from setbacks, and do the heavy lifting for you.

But even if you’re not young, that doesn’t mean the game is over. It just means you may need to be more intentional.

If you’re in a better position now than you were years ago, maybe you can invest more. Maybe you can spend less on things that don’t really matter. Maybe you can make better decisions because you now understand what’s actually important. That’s the bit people overlook. You don’t need to be perfect, but you do need to stop delaying.

Because “I’ll do it tomorrow” can quietly become five years. Then ten. Then suddenly, you’re wondering why nothing has changed.

For me personally, I made the majority of my money quite early through crypto. Was there luck involved? Of course there was. I’m not going to pretend otherwise.

But I also believe that the longer you are in markets, the more opportunities you give yourself to get “lucky”. More time in the market means more chances to learn, more chances to spot opportunities, more chances to take advantage when things are cheap, and more chances for your decisions to compound.

Crypto helped set me up for life, but it wasn’t because I came from some mega-paying job or because I was academically gifted in a way other people aren’t. At 27, my job didn’t exactly pay mega money. I wasn’t sitting there with a huge salary, a perfect plan, and all the answers.

But investing gave me something powerful: options.

And that is what wealth really gives most people. It gives you more time, more choice, more freedom, and more breathing room. People often think wealth is just about having a big number on a screen, but for me, it’s more about what that number allows you to do.

It allows you to take pressure off your life. It allows you to make decisions from a better place. It allows you to create more time for your family, your work, your health, or whatever actually matters to you.

But even with all that being said, some people still won’t do it.
