But the real question isn’t **“will the market crash?”**

It’s:

**“What will I actually do if it does?”**

For me, the framework is simple:

**1\. Only invest money I can afford to leave alone**  
If I need the money soon, it shouldn’t be in the market. Short-term money stays in cash. Investing money needs time.
